Please consider your year-end. If it is December 31st, your first extension is due May 15th. If it is June 30th, your first extension is due by November 15th. Remember that tax prep extensions are only extensions of time to file the paperwork. They are not extensions of time to pay any taxes due.

If you have moved, you will need to notify the IRS by mailing Form 8822, Change of Address, to the address listed on the form’s instructions.
If you purchase health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace, you should also notify the Marketplace when you move out of the area covered by their current Marketplace plan.
Please note that the deadline to apply for health insurance is December 15, 2017.
